Meet Chef Javier Nassar

Javier Nassar Graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a Cum Laude Degree in Culinary Arts, Chef Javier Nassar Proceeded to obtain a Sommelier Degree from the United States Sommelier Association.   At the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fla, Chef Nassar worked serving both Mediterranean as well as classic French cuisine, later becoming one of the culinary instructors at the prestigious Biltmore Hotel Wine Club. HOW am I getting to Diner en Blanc San Juan if I do not know the location? The answer is...Departure Points! The event location is a secret up until the moment you get there, our attendees meet at Departure Points around the city, hop on a luxury bus with all of your supplies and then are driven to the location. Once the event is over, you get back on the same bus you came on and are taken back to your car.    During registration, you will choose your Departure Point, and once it is chosen, it cannot be changed. We want you to know the locations ahead of time so you are prepared to choose during registration, as you only have 15 minutes to complete your registration once ...

What to bring?  Diner en Blanc is a unique pop-up event. Guests bring certain items as a tradition of the Diner en Blanc events, so that the location is kept a secret until the last minute and so it just pops up out of nowhere and then disappears without a trace. This unique part of the event keeps the ticket price low and affordable. As a member you are reinvited back to the event next year, and so once you have invested in some items, you can re-use these in the future. It is a truly sustainable event!
